Today's Moon Reading
With the Moon moving through Capricorn during a First Quarter phase, traditional astrology associates today's lunar themes with discipline, responsibility, and long-term thinking. This is a waxing Moon, so in astrology that energy is generally read as building and accumulating right now.
In astrology, lunar themes are traditional and symbolic - not scientific predictions.
Understanding the First Quarter
The First Quarter occurs when the Moon is a quarter of the way through its cycle and roughly half-illuminated. In traditional astrology, this phase is often associated with decision points, friction, and the first real test of an intention set at the New Moon.
